Restoring

We work to protect biodiversity and restore ecosystems worldwide through grass roots community based conservation and wildlife ranger support. By listening and responding to local knowledge and by working closely with local partner organisations we can find effective solutions for both nature and communities. Our focus is on lesser supported regions, endangered flora and fauna and threatened habitat. We see our smaller size as a strength – enabling us to offer prompt, impactful practical support through a highly collaborative and connected conservation model. Working together we believe a sustainable future for people and wildlife is possible.

Cameroon

The Deng Deng National Park and the Dja Biosphere Reserve are biodiversity hotspots, connecting Cameroon’s diverse wildlife with the Congo basin and hosting many endangered species. The project is working to protect this critical corridor through community forest management initiatives.

India

The hargila is the world’s rarest stork, breeding only in Cambodia and Assam, and a vital part of its wetland ecosystem. We are working with a group of women knows as the Hargila Army, to protect nest sites, restore habitat and build sustainable livelihoods connected to their conservation work.
